In April of 2014 Gordon Ayres joined AGAMA Biogas in the position of General Manager. This is to spearhead the development and growth plan. Gordon has been heading up AT&D Green by Design for the last five years. Before that he was with Hailstorm Renewable Energy as a director. Gordon has experience in the franchise market including BP and Pick ‘n Pay franchise division. He was part of the Score conversion team converting Score stores to Pick n’ Pay franchises.
Professional experience
Multiple small scale biogas installations, development of the schools biogas and food garden system, which has been adopted by over 40 schools in Southern Africa. Working with SANEDI as a technical consultant and is the designer of the San Tome community based biogas system.
Gordon consults to UNIDO, USAID and other aid organisations and is presently busy with the development of the Biogas Centre of Excellence based in Irene Pretoria.
