Dr Pradeep Monga

Dr Pradeep Monga is Senior Advisor and Policy Director at the World Biogas Association. He was previously working as a visiting Emeritus Research Fellow and Senior Advisor at IIASA, and prior to that, worked as Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), Director of Energy and Climate Change of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Sustainable Development Advisor and Chief of the Energy and Environment Programme at the UN Development Programme (UNDP). He has held key senior positions in the Government of India and the State Government of Himachal Pradesh before joining the UN. He has co-authored three books and presented technical papers on energy, environment, eco-restoration, and sustainable development multiple times.
