Mathieu has 25 years of experience in the gas field (natural gas, LNG, biogas, and biomethane). He has a demonstrated history in Commercial Operations, Regulation, and Public Affairs, and has developed strong expertise in the gas value chain, Operations Management, and Operational Excellence. As of the creation of the Biogas BU within TotalEnergies on September 1, 2020, Mathieu was appointed Head of Regulation & Advocacy of the BU. Since January 2024, he has been the Regulation & Public Affairs Sr Manager covering gas, LNG, and biogas. Before joining TotalEnergies, Mathieu held various positions in the natural gas and LNG business within Engie, mainly involved in dispatch, commercial operations, and project development. Mathieu is an energy engineer, graduated from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, and holds a master’s degree in gas engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris and the French Ministry of Industry.
